Aims:

Through the Green Pages project, pupils will deepen their understanding of environmental issues while simultaneously developing a broad set of valuable skills . This project blends reading and sustainability in a way that connects classroom learning with meaningful, hands-on experiences in their communities. Students will become more confident readers and writers as they explore stories and create their own eco-themed texts, learning to interpret messages clearly and express their ideas effectively.

In addition to literacy skills, pupils will build practical abilities such as designing and constructing outdoor mini-libraries from recycled materials. This hands-on work will help them develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and an understanding of sustainable practices. Collaborating with classmates and international peers, students will learn to organize tasks, communicate their ideas, and work as part of a team.

Digital competence will also be enhanced as students use various online tools to research, create presentations, and share their work. By presenting their projects in virtual fairs and local community events, they will gain confidence in public speaking and learn to engage audiences with important environmental messages.
Finally, the project nurtures responsible citizenship by encouraging students to take active roles in promoting sustainability within their communities, turning knowledge into real-world action.
